Everyone wants rubbish gone cheaply. The difficulty is that "cheap" is quoted two very different ways in Cornwall — a low number that holds, and a low number that grows once the van is loaded. We price on what we can actually see, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay at the end of the job.

What Actually Decides Your Price
- Volume, not weight — how much room your rubbish takes up in the van is the main factor. A bulky but light load of packaging costs less than it looks like it should.
- Labour — a pile stacked ready on the drive is quicker, and cheaper, than clearing from a back bedroom, a loft or down three flights of steps.
- What is in it — fridges, mattresses, tyres and plasterboard carry separate disposal charges at the transfer station. We tell you up front if any apply.
- Access — narrow Cornish lanes, restricted parking and long carry distances all add time to the job.
- Recycling — we sort and recycle up to 90% of what we take. Less landfill tonnage keeps our costs down, and that feeds back into the quote.

Cheap Should Never Mean Unlicensed
This is the part most people are never told. Under household waste duty of care, if you hand your rubbish to someone without a waste carrier licence and it is later fly-tipped, the liability comes back to you — not to whoever dumped it. Your name is in the paperwork found in the pile.
A man in an unmarked van quoting well under everyone else is not a bargain if the load ends up in a lay-by. Ask anyone you hire for their carrier registration number. Ours is on record with the Environment Agency, and every job leaves you with paperwork.
